After an intense week powering both our catering operations & our growing digital canteen service, we took a well-earned pause to recharge.

Nestled in the lush greenery on the edge of Brussels, Chalet de la Forêt is more than just a restaurant, it’s an experience.
Holding two Michelin stars, the establishment is known for its refined seasonal cuisine, elegant atmosphere & deep-rooted respect for nature and produce.
The mastermind behind this gastronomic institution is none other than Chef Pascal Devalkeneer, a long-time friend of Foodiz. With a passion for authenticity & balance,
Pascal crafts dishes that are both artful and grounded, a perfect reflection of his culinary philosophy.
Our team was treated to an exquisite tasting menu, each course a delicate dance of textures, flavors, and inspiration.
From garden-fresh vegetables to subtly smoked seafood, every plate told a story of craftsmanship and care.

Beyond the table, we had the privilege of an intimate Q&A session with Chef Pascal, where he generously shared his insights on leadership in the kitchen, sustainability in haute cuisine, and the evolving expectations of modern diners.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get more inspiring, Pascal invited us for a behind-the-scenes tour of his two-star kitchen — a masterclass in precision, collaboration, and quiet excellence.
This teambuilding experience reminded us why we do what we do: to bring people together around great food, meaningful conversation, and shared purpose.
